No because they didn't use facts in the ad. Starbucks has close ties with the veteran community (not saying BRCC doesn't)...

Brcc is getting started so they will need more time and stores to get a good foothold in the community.
The one good thing is that coffee is not a liquor or beer so they will not have to compete for an "available liquor license" just find a good place to set up business. A mall where they can have a outside entrance or window is a good spot.. that way they can also be open earlier than usual mall hours, and people can also drive up and get a cup to go.. (if mall security would allow it).. definitely a building they can have a drive up at..

SSgt Boyd Herrst - Not necessarily BRCC themselves, but the way the media ran with it, spread a false narrative.

Maybe brcc could of said go for 5,00 and then go on from there. It would of looked like a more realistic
goal..
goal..

I don't necessarily agree with Evan Hafer's view, but anything that helps veterans is a good thing. Also just to set the record straight, as stated in the article Starbucks does indeed hire veterans. Alot actually. I've actually found them to be a really remarkable company.

Interesting to say the Least. Being a Pacific Northwest Sailor anyone that is putting up Viable Competition to Starbucks has My Interest but I'm Not going to Hold My Breath.

Starbucks has become a household name and I don't think anyone can really pose serious competition to them at this point. I honestly don't think their product is all that great. I don't drink a lot of coffee, but when I do go to a coffee shop I try to find local spots. It's usually a better product at comparable prices. Starbucks is convenient place to hang out though when the wife is shopping.
