Thanks for sharing LTC (Join to see) the recollection of John Bishop who was a soldier in the 2nd Battalion of Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (2 PPCLI) in the 1951 Battle of Kapyong. Like other actions in the Korean War, a lone battalion repulsed the thousands of CHICOM waves of soldiers. In this instance a brilliant defense fought by a single Canadian battalion against thousands of invading Chinese communist troops during the Korean War.
