PO1 William "Chip" Nagel this situation is not as clear cut as one would think. Physicians in the military cannot be sued so they only carry malpractice insurance if they moonlight off base. Any law suit allowed for malpractice goes against the government, not the physician. I think it high time that the government allows active duty members to sue the government for malpractice.
