Air Force contractor killed by drone propeller lost 'situational awareness'

I'm sorry. Being on the flight line is not the place to lose situational awareness. Nor is it a place to be walking around unguided or with people observing for safety..

When you are on the flightline you have to be alert all the time. I was out there for Desert Storm...planes taking off and landing and moving in and out of parking spaces...we had some close calls but no one got injured.

When you have a job in the Air Force there is no room for playing around, you must be awake and aware 101% of the time!
