Hillsdale College has published a great commentary on Islamic beliefs and teachings by the asset. District Attorney, who prosecuted the Blind Shiek. Unfortunately, we can expect little from our muzzy Obamunist President, leading from the rear. His only appearance in any type of uniform is Indonesian native formal dress with turbines. It was part of his early "Apology" tour. Come on January 27, 2017!

Turban not turbines. Obozo needs a turbine to power his one day laser focus he has twice a year, you remember: Jobs 1 day, then the annual budget, then the State of the Union (please don't check those plans in 2011, the fraud and waste cuts became increases!).

So, here is the problem with your statement....
Are you actually willing to kill innocents (to include women and children,) in order to "eradicate the scourge."
Don't get me wrong, I have fought against some bad dudes and am totally in agreement that there are just some people out there that need killing.
Our efforts to date have succeeded only in creating more problems and radicalize get or strengthening the resolve of those bad guys. Playing whack-a-mole with Jihadis hasn't and won't work.
The root cause of this issue is far deeper than can be expressed in just a few words on a website. Fundamentally, we need to stop being willing to sacrifice our brothers and sisters in arms so that we can protect the petrodollar and corporate interests.
I, like all here, signed a blank check to my country and through 5 deployments have almost had that check cashed a time or two. There is nobody on this planet who could call me a coward and I would still die to protect this country, but I won't willingly do it so that someone's net worth goes up .001%.
The problem with all as-yet proposed solutions is that it has a slippery slope of violating citizens rights. There isn't an armada of Muslims prepping for an invasion here, other than those that are being allowed in illegally. Remove our troops and bases from the ME (and most everywhere else) and let's spend that money back home. Or better yet, not spend it at all since we are a debtor nation and running a continuous deficit.
Smedley Butler was a hero of the Corps. How many here were aware that he became disenfranchised and wrote "War is A Racket." If you haven't read it, you should. It's about 12 pages and as true then as it is now.then as it is today.

Eugen Toma - By the by, in no way do I mean for any of my comments to be confrontational, demeaning, or disrespectful. Tone is hard to infer via text, so I want to ensure that I specifically address this before any assumptions are made. Please allow me to apologize if they came across as such.

No need to apologize at all, I respect all opinions, and my tone was calm but descriptive.

Did he become "disenfranchised" because he determined "War is a Racket"? OR some other reason (passover?).

MAJ (Join to see) - I can't speak on other circumstances that may have lead to him feeling the way he did, however, his writings are quite clear about why he felt the way he did at the end.
