Aircraft on final approach to LAX dumps fuel on school playground

The piilot’s got to do what he has to do to keep his crew, pax and airframe safe. He was close enough to the coast to have been able to dump fuel at sea but maybe he had a sudden emergency on final approach that he didn’t have time for a go-around.

This is right where I live. Fortunately, I was away when this happened…
