I don't think anyone is calling for totally free college, just using our tax dollars in a way that is useful to them. I can't blame them, when you see that enough has been spent on the F-35 (1.35T) to fund a 2 year degree or trade school for every single person aged 16-25 (about 15% of the population in a quick beer math pull from census data) at current tuition rates.
Not only that, college cost has risen astronomically, with tuition not equating to a better education and books being a well-known racket, is it any wonder that people want a change? Our people aren't getting a better education than countries who have lower or zero tuition costs to students, so what are we paying for?
