Yes we should be optimistic. My major disappointments were many scientist from the 1970s were wrong about Global Cooling, then many scientist in the 1990s were wrong about Global Warming, and now that there was snow in New England in late April 2016. Just like forecasting the weather is an art and science, so is forecasting Climate Change.
