All charges dropped against Fort Cavazos colonel accused of sexual assault

The way this reads to me is that he did most of what he was accused of, but the only reason it came to light is he gave a bad OER and someone wanted revenge. Since the accusation was revenge based , he gets away with administrative action instead of jail time. Will likely retire as a full COL in the near future (because that admin action means he will *not* see stars on his chest).

If my assessment is accurate, then this is a disgrace. But kudos to the defense team for keeping yet another assaulter from facing any serious consequences.

Innocent until proven guilty

Well, well, well... truly a sordid tale all the way around. A POS of a a Colonel walks away almost unscathed. His POS wife walks away almost unscathed. An apparently POS officer hides behind his POS wife over a not so good/bad OER. Go Army!

For the record, my wife doesn't know what an OER is or, even better, wouldn't care what one is. The 'officer' who dreamed up this little scheme needs a visit with a GOMAR and a DD214 'toot sweet'.
