Given this is out of the Southern Poverty Law Center, not exactly an unbiased organization I have to take their story with a grain or ton of salt.
I think the real reason he was ban is that he was not liberal and the following two sentences tell it all:

"Instead of banning thousands of accounts Twitter seems to be taking aim at perceived leaders of the worst actors on the platform."
They banned him because he was effective with a message they do not want shared.
That does not mean I agree with anything he has to say, but SPLC goes after SOME groups that are effect in being hateful, but not others.

How did someone become a Staff Sergeant in the army with out being able to read and comprehend what is written?
I said in my original post they prioritized based on the fact he was influential.
I find as this election cycle goes onward that liberals are becoming more vitriolic, insulting and desperate as they realize their Dear Leader's baggage is catching up to her and she might lose.

These days with Twitter, is it another sick individual or just another individual that opposes Hillary?
He may be extreme right with, but Alt-Right was created by Hillary to demonize all that oppose her.
