Hope they deliver on that......probably just happy talk to ham it up at the conference though. Didn't Carrier tell Trump they wouldn't ship jobs out anymore? Didn't they just ship a bunch of jobs to Mexico? Everyone wants to look good when the cameras are on them......later, it's a different story. Maybe this time it's real........I really hope that's the case.

Me too. The difference, of course, is that Carter instituted practices, taxes, regulations, etc. that made going offshore attractive. Trump is doing the opposite

I'm hoping this is so. But this is the dailycaller and it's not exactly unbiased. I read from several different places, and I think the general consensus is as long as he's helping them make money that's a good thing. But they did not promise to increase investments here--it's way more complex than that, including the cost of labor. I really hope it continues. My concern is when this wave starts down and the average person realizes they have to pay for these guys. And it will. The economy has always been a wave.
