America's Constitution is terrible. Let's throw it out and start over.

The author fails to realize a core concept or our Constitution and our Government Framework.
It's not supposed to be easy.
It's supposed to be bloody $^&$*& difficult to pass anything. Our Branches don't work in conjunction with each other. They work in opposition with each other. That's why the "checks & balances" concept exists.
We want a Government that has a hard to passing things. Government is applied (monopolistic) Force. If you allow the Foxes the ability to grant themselves more Power, there will be no more Chickens. Our System protects the Chickens, not the Foxes.
Is out Governmental System flawed? Sure. Is it better than anything else out there? Yup. We have one of the oldest active Constitutional Frameworks still in place. We have the 4th largest nation both in geographic area and population. We have the most diverse nation on the planet (due to size). We have the ability to leverage ANY kind of Force (economic, military, etc) better than any other nation.
Were we to "start from scratch" we wouldn't be able to do any of that.

Capt Dwayne Conyers and what are the one or two salient points that you see in the article?
The reason that I ask, is because there is so much in the article that is historically and factually incorrect. And as far as the article that it is based on, well... Where should I start? The first declarative: The Constitution is anti-democratic. This statement by itself is so wrong, it is absurd. And it also proves the point that brain-washing through propaganda actually works. Why because the communist and socialist model of naming their regimes states as "Democratic Republic of..." has worked so well in convincing people that anything that is a democratic republic is oppressive and wrong. I do not think that I need to go further, especially since this is the premise of both articles, and to go past this point would be a monumental waste of time and effort. And those entrenched in believing it for the most part will not change their minds no matter how much evidence to the contrary is presented.
