Disagree. And in fact this is exactly what is wrong with American politics today. Everyone thinks they are so smart. Everyone has an air of unearned superiority. You do not debate issues by saying your opponent is dumb, stupid, a racist, a whatever. That isn't a debate, it is an insult. People have different opinions, why? Each of us views things from our fox hole. No one has all the information, no one has a monopoly on the facts. If people wish to be part of the solution, get out of the sandbox. Sure, more liberals probably have college degrees, but as my dad said to me after graduating, "he has forgotten more than I know." Solutions only come when all sides are considered not by who throws the most sand.

Major Ross, also I think a reason why many that could be more qualified don't even want to enter the political arena and be subjected to that sort of treatment. Too bad more of the candidates couldn't act in the interest of the United States instead of their own self interest.
