Yes it is virtually impossible to get into this Country. Fortunately there are 2 Imitations sold in this Country, 12 which is made in Germany which is My Favorite and Metaxa which is made in Mexico.

I had several friends that died drinking that stuff. One actually jumped off the top of our Kassern and landed on his head on the auto blockade. From the amount of Ouzo in his system, he didn't feel a thing. But it was a tragic loss of life. He was an AWESOME WARRIOR.

Some People do say Ouzo does taste like Mouthwash or Cold Medicine. Anise Seed gives it a Black Licorice Flavor that I really do Enjoy.
