Who cares... my first language is spanish and I speak it when I feel like it and wherever. People want to mean mug me, IDC, I know my worth and I dnt have to prove myself to nobody on Earth.

People need to stop being insecure about their culture and what they need to do is embrace it.

Oh, you are in Hollywood, not West LA where Farsi is the common denominator!

I hope the foreign language concept grows among my fellow Americans. It's just intellectually lazy to not learn multiple languages, especially if you are a servicemember or veteran.

I am proud to speak Spanish. One of our chaplains with a Korean last name, much to my surprise, came from Korea to Argentina at age 6 then spent 20 years there then over 10 years United States. He studied in Spain as well. Now he's a chaplain, Captain, for an Army Reserve regional support group in Las Vegas. I had fun the speaking to him in Spanish while at Maple resolve 18 that just finished in Canada and very excited that this korean-american was well-versed in three languages. One of our Observer controller trainer s, an AGR major from the 5th psyops operation group wants to recruit him to be his chaplain. I had no problem speaking Spanish while in uniform or out and I would love for someone from ICE or some other government agency to do this to me in California and I'll whip out my military ID card and let him have it verbally in English.

CW3 (Join to see) sorry, I didn't understand your acronyms or suggestion. Are you saying I should just take it and not complain? What legal trouble would I be in for this? Interfering with an officer? Or should I just do a complaint to the agency afterwards and not say a thing?

CW3 (Join to see) Oh you mean law enforcement officers. I could kill them with kindness and continuing to talk to the law enforcement officer in Spanish the whole time refusing to speak in English and that would really blow their mind! I could answer all questions that they give me an English and sister I'll answer it in Spanish. I won't be sarcastic, I won't say anything negative , I just will answer all their questions in Spanish.
