We should build and assign one Expeditionary Sea Base USNS Lewis B. Puller class ship to each coast as full time training platforms for the USMC units not in the deployment training cycle. These are cheap and easy to build, once on station they can be assign to 2nd or 3rd Marine Divisions as a full time training asset. Then FMF would finish off their training as we do today with AIT and CERTEX.

That is just plain scary...IMO no excuse for this. This is where the 7 p principles comes into play. Prior proper planning prevent piss poor performance. We have been saying the military has been an after thought for YEARS we have to make this right to do the right thing by our service members.
