Every analysis of every tax plan is a political exercise having no value to anyone. . Of course, the opposition party will paint dire pictures of its effect on you and the nation while the sponsors will claim that it cures all ills. You just have to wait until its implimented and prepare your return to see its effect on your taxes. The rest is just BS

True.....we have no idea how this will impact us......mainly because they never held hearings on it, where they could grill experts about the various pieces of the bill. They just wanted to pass something....anything.....so they did. It may work out fine....it may be total disaster.....either way, Trump and the GOP own it.

If by that you mean it doesn't matter what the analyses, we have no choice, then you are correct. After it's worked out in the final bill, I think there will be independent analyses and we can understand most of it. But I also agree that both parties will paint it as dire and/or curing all ills. I just know there is no free lunch, and there will be cuts to pay for it that may affect many of us, too.
