There was also a program at Bremerton back when the movie was made. My youngest brother went through the program at Pensacola in 1984.

1SG Steven Imerman As Someone that Had to Stand Gate Guard at Corry Station I Had No Love of Wannabe Fighter Jocks at the Time. I Had to Salute that Damn Officer Sticker on their Damn Cars but when they Mixed with Us? That Ended, They were getting paid as E-5's warranted not as Much Respect. Final Laugh would be I would be One of the PT Coord for Those One Time Fighter Jocks in DC when they Became Project Mangers for Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command. "CTO1 if I Catch You I'm Gonna Kick Your Ass" "Commander if You Ever Catch Me! I'll Let You Kick My Ass!"

I remember both battleships berthed in Bremerton. Many times I drove by. You could see them from the highway. I spent 8 months at the old hospital near where the ships were berthed
