Rick, the wife is a south paw and right eye dominant. Interesting training sometimes.

SSG Michael Noll, it's got to be tough leaning the head over like that. Do you use a spacer on the optics? Side or angle mount?

Nope just good old Kentucky windage. Pistols canted to dominant eye and has even tried shooting right handed as well. Rifle is usually not a problem as she will shoot right handed.

I read an article recently (unfortunately I don't remember where) that talked about people being cross-dominant that said that for most people it was easier to shoot with the hand that corresponded to the eye-dominance. The reasoning seemed sound and backed up by case histories. Since I'm not in that situation, I haven't tested it out or been able to have anyone else test it out. I did think it was worth mentioning, though.
