Great post, all I would add is you should never feel guilty for being white or any color because none of us had a choice, we are as God made us.

Logic would follow that if you take positive emotions from in the actions of those who went before you (pride) then negative emotions should also be taken heed of as well. Not that any "one" should take responsibility for an entire race, though being truly aware and empathetic that racism exists (and the implications thereof) are enough for any person to move on and make your community, your state, your country a better place to live moving forward.

"racism exists" no argument, but all racial ethnicity's are guilty of it. in one form or another. It does not make it right or correct. So does sexism, ageism, in fact there are more isms that you could possible imagine. There is history there, look at who wants to label you into a group or a subcategory. Why does that help them? The history of blame is very clear those that wish to hold onto power or usurp power by blaming some group weather its an Ethnicity, Race, Religion, Financial Position it can be anything. The point is is that groups purpose is to get you to label that group and blame them for your ills. The historical facts are the labeling of groups by various definitions even the self labeling are clear its just an ugly old game, but apparently it is still working on those that are to ignorant to see through it. I took the Ancestry blood test assuming it accurate. Not surprise that I am mostly European. but there is Middle Eastern/Southern European, Native American East Coast, African/Mediterranean, and east Asian(Manchurian). So if you want to label me go ahead. I am not the source of you problems. I am not to blame for any mans ills. as an individual I do not believe that you are mine.

Never know what racism feels like? What about most times when someone who is white goes into a black neighborhood? "White boy!" Is heard a lot. When Black people to my house I don't once mention color. I grew up watching racism in the South. When I was in the military I happen to be the only white guy in my AO. I was called cracker, white boy and other racial terminology. I just prayed for them and tried to still give the shirt off my back for all. However if I were to have ever implied anything about their race I would have been ran up the flagpole. It's 2016. I didn't oppress you, you didn't oppress me because I'm happy. Grow up, stop whining, work hard and love one another. God bless this country and God bless each of us.

SFC Frank Garza - It does not happen to EVERY BLACK PERSON ? NOTHING IS ABSOLUTE except DEATH but it does happen to a VERY LARGE MAJORITY of the Black ( and other minority groups). Just because YOU do not have first hand experience DOES NOT MEAN it does not exist !

SGT (Join to see) - fk him! He don't deserve to be called sir. I have no interest in making white folks comfortable. Our experiences are just like our Gods; THEY'RE NOT THE SAME! So again, fuck him!

So you found ONE person to confirm what you've wanted to believe all along...that racism is exaggerated. Well, I'm not here to make you feel comfortable either because you sound just like one of those HISPANICS that wish they were white. You sound stupid. Out of the millions of Blacks in this country and with the history of thiscountry, Amerikkka, you find ONE example. And then you imply that because YOU don't think that it happens to everyone, the ones that it does happen to, it's ok, and we should just accept it! You should be quiet! I know I said, "you think"... maybe I should consider what you got to think with. NOTHING! No brains AT ALL to make such foolish statements! Just be dafuk quiet!
