How any family could see their child suffer like that and still cling to some pseudoscience rabble to make the decision to not vaccinate is beyond me. I'm not generally in favor of forced vaccination or the state taking the decision away from the parents but with it being an easily demonstrated risk in the home environment this should qualify as child neglect. Kid should be taken into foster care, vaccinated, and then returned to his loving but stupid parents.

Science validates the efficacy of vaccinations. Those who do not believe in vaccination I feel are misguided individuals who do not base their logic on real scientific data. I understand the religious factor is important but where in the Bible does it state that you cannot use medical science to prolong life? Is that what Jesus would want us to do? I doubt it.
