Anger in Michigan Over Appointing Emergency Managers

Wierd, can't tag him either.
You can't say this is unexpected, the city has had years to pull itself up, and made no progress in doing so, the elected officials ran racketeering groups, no way Detroit citizens would be happy with the type of budget cuts that are required. It's always harder to cut spending than to increase it, the city has proven itself incapable of doing so, so an emergency manager was called in to make the unpopular decisions that needed to be made.
Is there another option or better alternative, unfortunately public favor cannot supersede financial insolvency.
