I don't really see a color component here, just an incompetence issue. I have be in four DSCA operations with FEMA and they were all like a back yard fotball game with Hail Mary passes. The military has logistics units that can easily support these missions. Why we contract it out is a mystery to me.

The only reason I commented on race is because we all remember how Michael Brown was treated after Katrina mishaps. If we were talking about a white Timothy Brown, I have a feeling he'd have been raked over the coals on CNN and MSNBC as a conman who had no business being awarded the contract, especially after having numerous failures previous. But because she's a black woman and others have their fingers on the black female race card trigger, silence....
