I am a immense foodie and appreciate history and different cultures. That being said, I loved Anthony's episodes. He had wit, understand of different cultures, exposed cultures, and asked the right questions. He tried to reveal the soul of different cultures.
Having PTSD, I wondered if I could watch his episodes and not get depressed. I am safe. With each episode I watch, I love him even more. I have scoured the internet for his episodes and relish watching them.

If you are an Anthony Bourdain fan you must watch this video. He is so fanatically pleasured by the food and effusive. His elation is on another plane all together compared to other episodes. Watching it will make you feel good. It is that simple.
