First let me say I am for vaccines that have been fully vetted and tested over time. I don't understand why some parents refuse to get vaccinations for their kids especially on proven vaccinations. I will never understand that.
NOW...with respect for the COVID vaccine...I will not take it right away. It has been developed under a Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) which means it has not been fully tested in the FDA procedure for safety, side effects, efficacy, and long term effects. 20-25 percent of the SMALL tested population have shown severe side effects. It also has not shown to prevent COVID as of yet. It is a two shot series that if you get your dose from Pfizer your second dose has to be from Pfizer not Moderna and vice versa...if it is all COVID preventative then they should be interchangeable right. We also do not know long term effects...will the medicine shut down your liver, kidneys, or other organs in a year, two years etc? We just don't know that yet. It may be in one of those commercials that says "If you or a loved on received the COVID vaccination in 2021 and suffered the following side effects or have died, then contact our office as you are entitled to be compensated for damages." I am glad it is coming out and I am glad we are fast tracking it but there are way too many unknowns for me right now.

Sir, I respectfully disagree with your statements. Vaccines are not developed under emergency use authorizations they are distributed AFTER development and approval under EUAs. Very big difference. I’m not sure about your background in medicine and/or science but this is based on science and not opinion. I definitely understand anyone’s hesitancy to get the vaccine however the science and stringent requirements were not changed. There has never been such a unified front to fight disease. There have never been such advanced technologies to fight disease before. There has never been such a public demand to fight disease before. You are absolutely correct in that we do not know long term effects and that should give everyone pause, especially young people with a long life ahead of them.
Let’s be real. Money talks. These manufacturers were incentivized with an incredible amount of money to put all other vaccine trials and research aside to focus on one disease. Mot sure that has ever been done before. So tread carefully yes but do so with correct information.
