Antifa violence forces Berkeley campus police to rethink their tactics

Sgt Wayne Wood, Auburn University, my alma mater, got rid of the campus police years ago. Times have changed, and gone are the days when the grandfatherly campus cop drove the guy who had one too many back to the dorm. The City of Auburn police now have jurisdiction throughout the entire Auburn campus. Get drunk on campus and caught by the police now and you go to jail.
Considering the training and liability issues, it just makes sense. Thus far, the Cal Berkeley campus police force hasn't impressed the world with their stellar police work. They should consider following Auburn's (and other universities') lead.
