Yeah, we had the same chain drill at USNA. My black roommate and the other black miss in my company didn't have a problem with it. My guess is this soldier missed the message of the chain...

SSG Shavonde Chase - That doesn't work in combat, and that is what every military member should be training for. Anything less will get you and the service member next to you killed. Look at any of our potential adversaries and ask yourself if they are doing "feelings" training. If people are so worried about their feelings, then maybe they need to find a job. The military service is a calling, not a job. We need to be stronger, not weaker.

SSG Richard Relyea - Yeah, with you. Don't think the Chinese are really into getting into a talk circle and talking things out.

LT Brad McInnis - Whenever someone tells me that the Marines are too hard and don't care about people's feelings I remember what our enemies did to this Jordanian pilot. I'll worry about feelings after I'm sure you have what you need to get home alive, if possible.

LT Brad McInnis - As far as humiliating, when you were at USNA, did you have to ever show up in working uniform "Batman" for uniform races during plebe summer?

Sweat gear, Blue Speedo with yellow stipe outside the sweats. duty belt, black socks, boondockers, rain cape, and Dixie cup with the brim pulled down.

27th Company, Oscar Platoon, GET SOME!!!!
