Not often a Pave Hawk just falls out of the sky due to Maintenance or pilot error, but wingman says no hostile fire noted at time of crash

SGM- There were a few incidents like this when we were in Mosul. A chip light would alarm but the pilot thought they could get the AC just a little farther. Either way RIP to the Fallen Angels.

I scrambled assets more than a few times for precautionary landings in Afghanistan
Most of them were able to RTB but a couple had maintenance issues which had they been ignored would have turned into something bad as I understand it
And yes of course no matter the reason he rest in peace brothers somebody else has the watch from here
