Arizona governor names Martha McSally to McCain Senate seat

Frankly, having a female combat vet in the Senate makes sense. To PO2 Aitchison and PO1 Don Gulizia -

Cindy McCain is still morning and I am sure she doing just as Senator & Capt McCain wanted. If anyone will run it will Meghan, McCain's daughter) to challenge Sinema in 2024. I think Meghan is pissed about a number of things and she will get her family solid 1st, then run!!! With Meghan in Senate in 2024 she will have a say in AZ and national politics. After all she is John McCain's daughter and she her own personal firepower!

Col McSally is the kind of woman with operational experience that is needed, especially in the Senate. One committee I hope she is assigned to is the Judiciary. The Republicans need a couple of women to avoid the imbalance that now exist. I think her presence on this and at least a couple of other committees would be excellent. Armed Services would also be a great committee for her to be on, especially with a woman's perspective.
