Armed Stoneman Douglas school resource officer stayed outside as shooting unfolded, sheriff says

Went and got something to drink at Subway. That is NOT the mentality of a "mentally challenged" person; that is the mentality of someone who really doesn't give a fuck. As far as the resource officer goes......there aren't enough bad words to describe him in all the languages combined, and you had ONE job and you fucked that up. 17 lives lost because you. Got. Scared.

I know the saying "Hooah in training, scared as hell in battle" can apply, and I'm no mega tough guy, but the gym teacher had more balls than you, three JROTC cadets had more honor, courage, and dedication than you, yet you will be waking up tomorrow where they won't. Hope nothing bad ever happens to you, but I hope for the rest of your life when you go to sleep you see nothing but 17 faces who you could've made an effort to save but didn't.
