Thanks for reminding us TSgt Joe C. that on November 9, 1946, the second-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the first-ranked Army Cadets play to a historic 0-0 tie at Yankee Stadium in New York.

TSgt Joe C., Notre Dame leads this rivalry with an impressive margin of 39 wins, 8 losses and 4 ties. Many of their victories have occurred in the modern day era (wherein the service academies have been less competitive), which includes a current 15 game winning streak!
A good friend and Notre Dame graduate took me to the Army-Notre Dame game played at Notre Dame Stadium in 1985, which was the last season coached by Gerry Faust. Army lost 24-10, but the football experience at South Bend was incredible!
