As someone who is an admin for many social media accounts, this can happen easily. While this is a high profile Oops, I hope Army leadership doesn't over react.

I think there will be a new protocol for tweeting being set up probably before the end of the day. :-)

Make sure you're on the correct account before you click send/post. What's done is done. From the article it seems that it was an honest if careless mistake. Doesn't say whether the soldier was or will be punished beyond loosing access to Army social media accounts. I figure that's a lesson learned, a counseling and let it go.
