Probably more valued than the Certificate of Enlistment, possibly not as much as the Certificate of Honorable Discharge for those that only serve one term. 1SG (Join to see)

The two ways that I remember that you got out of BCT,was 1 ,you didn't ,you were recycled and started all over again,or 2 you went to your respective AIT company,I guess they figure an official looking Certificate is the new "PC" way to show everyone you are a Soldier,the way they showed me was called a DD214 now that Is a "real" certificate,!
