Army West Point football team was recognized at the recent Army-Navy basketball doubleheader for it best season in 20 years, breaking the 14 year losing streak to the Naval Academy and then winning the Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl over North Texas in an OT thriller. Head Coach Jeff Monken completing his third season on the Hudson, promises even better days ahead to the capacity crowd of over 5,000. Ok, Navy won both the women's and men's games that day and had the honor to "Sing Second", but the Army teams will get another chance Feb. 18th in Annapolis.

Thanks, the nucleus of this team was juniors and seniors with a handful of seniors led by linebackers Andrew King and Jeremy Timpf, safety Xavier Moss, and wide receiver Edgar Poe. QB Ahmad Bradshaw who engineered 80 yard drive of the decade to put Army back ahead late in 4th of the Navy game, has one more year.
