Dale, I'm still not fully in on the "Crazy with a gun" narrative. The target selection wasn't random. Then He went off to a secluded area to do Himself. Since He's deceased there are aspects of the investigation that won't be made public. That He in fact was able to do what he did indicates some instability. I think the going out away from others indicates He knew He had done bad things and wasn't fit to be with other members of society. But it's all my opinion, and everybody's got one.

And all of their concerns were ignored. And we see the results. It isn't the weapon, it is the mental health of the person wielding it. And if we continue to ignore that, this will continue to happen. It doesn't take a gun...he could be mowing people down with his car.

Exactly so. But doing away with our 2d Amendment rights has less to do with public safety and more to do with the folks in power's ability to control us . . .

An unfortunate confluence of events. The takeaway for me no law would have, or did, stop this man from his act of violence. Yet well have more laws and other anti-gun legislation thrown at us.
