I didn't see the video in this story, but I did see it after Cornell posted it as a response to another comment. Maybe the manager should have said "cool your engines, old timer. That was the 1940's. This is the 2000's. Shit has changed". Then they should have said to the vet "not only is that sandwich on us, so is dessert and a few drinks".
