My first home, purchased in 1979, was done with my VA Certificate of Eligibility. The real estate broker must have had deep ties to the financial lender. Selling my home three years later was a biblical nightmare.

Our first home was bought in 1976 theough VA zero down. The mortgage passed through 6 different banks by the time we sold it in 1993. We mad out very well but just that the mortgage was sold over and over it took longer than expected to complete the sale.

I think mine was sold four times in only four years. I still think these lenders are playing some shell game!!!
