SPC Britanny *Winnie* Balthaser Exciting I love alien stuff and space - I hope before my life is over we discover other life forms - that would be very cool!

If we can communicate with them, we should send a message in binary code. Make sure a message of peace.

I was once waiting for dayligh, to go squirrel hunting. I was looking up at the sky full of stars, and I see, what looked like one of the stars, take off, flying eastward. It was almost so fast it was hard to keep up with. Then it just stopped for a few seconds, and took off again, then stopped again. It was not a shooing star. I dont know what it was, but it was controlling its own flight. That was for sure.

SGT (Join to see) I have had the same experience :) I was driving from Reno to Vegas in the middle of the night, it followed me for several hours and it was bright and then suddenly it disappeared.

SPC Britanny *Winnie* Balthaser - I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I tried to make it something like a shooting star, but it was controlling itself. I've never believed in that stuff until then. I know what I saw, just like you know what you saw. Pretty weird.

SGT (Join to see) and SGT (Join to see) - I've seen "stars" behave very similarly. Three of us sleeping out watching a "satellite" moving across the sky, when sputnik was not known to have been launched yet. (Yes, it was along time ago and we were children.) Then "sputnik" stopped and two "stars" with about a 34degree angle between them) flew away in an instant - we knew nothing could fly that fast - nothing. Then the original "star" kept going. We couldn't believe it either, but we saw it. We tried to wake up our parents, but they told us to go back to sleep. But we wrote it down in a notebook the next day. In later years when satellites were in the sky, the original star we saw was what satellites look like as they travel through the sky.
What we all have experienced is not considered to be a "close encounters of the any kind" but . . . but they certainly seem like some sort of an "encounter"!
