Good morning RP. Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is titled "Apollo 11 Landing Panorama." Neil Armstrong took these photos shortly after landing on July 20, 1969. Imagine yourself, still breathing and aware, looking out on another world. Thank God for duty and checklists...I don't even know if I would have been able to take the pictures without shaking!

Maj William W. 'Bill' Price - Another awesome Moon Pic from Fifty (50) years ago, upon the "Apollo 11 Landing on our Moon"! I cannot get past the perceived stillness and bleak black space and the barrenness of the Moon's mysterious surface!
