I am glad SPC Britanny *Winnie* Balthaser that Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas inspected its outdoor running course earlier this year and found it was 85 feet longer than required.
Catch 22 would be thrilled to learn that "Air Force leaders have ordered all bases to re-certify their 1.5-mile running courses" because "59 airmen at two bases may have unfairly failed their fitness assessments because the tracks they ran on were longer than they should have been."
It is bizarre that a military installation would have a track that was designed and yet it would be inaccurate. Perhaps this is an indication of everything n Texas really is supposed to be bigger :-) SGT (Join to see) Sgt Kelli Mays Capt Tom Brown

Wow....big whoops for the AF. I hope those affected will have their records rectified for the mismeasured tracks. Idk if they follow the 3 strikes, you're out like the Navy but still something needs to be done. Those who were discharged better challenge this to get themselves back.
