Watergate unfolded due to "anonymous sources" and "no independent corroboration." We all know how that turned out.

LTC David Brown - Well, one is entitled to one's opinion. For me, I do not subscribe to the opinion that the FBI is corrupt. I believe they are probably the most non-corrupt law enforcement agency in the world.
OK, perhaps not all GOP in Congress are calling for an end to Mueller's investigation, but many are. I see one or another of them on TV everyday doing so.

MSG Stan Hutchison - well the fact that McCabes’s wife got $700,000 from Hillary in her run for office. That The statement about Hillary’s handling of classified material was changed from reckless to careless. I mean when classified material ends up on a sex perverts computer that isn’t careless, I think it is reckless. The fact that two FBI agents shagging each other said they had insurance if Trump got elected. This all seems to point a less than impartial investigation. Why can’t Congress get information about what initiated the collusion investigation but the NYT can? Oh, excuse me but the author of the article was used to front stories Hillary wanted published. If there wasn’t biase why was Strzok fired? http://www.cnn.com/2017/12/04/politics/peter-strzok-james-comey/index.html

LTC David Brown - So what? So what the wife got the money long before the investigation, and the donation was completely legal.

Stop re pretending that campaign contributions publicly made are a crime unless you can provide evidence of connection, besides silly innuendo.

Should our law enforcement and/or intelligence folks not follow up on tips they receive? Of course they should follow up.......while some tips lead to dead ends, others lead to the promised land. You don't know until you follow up and investigate. That's what is currently happening.......as it should be.

When Law enforcement threatens the cult's leaders , they should cease and desist immediately it seams,
If baseless BS like the Uranium one investigation no evidence of wrong doing is needed since that serves the cults leader
