In my early years as an Armor Officer - had read about this. But it was never covered in later schools of higher learning - where the focus was Operation Torch and D-Day..... but when saw the current map of the fighting in the Russo-Ukrainian War - with the Russians attacking on 3 support avenues and one primary - and unable to gain superiority on any.. it reminded me of the Backhand Blow in FEB 1943 --- and the maps if overlayered -- show terrain dictation of the Russian offensives then and now.
