TSgt Joe C., for people in my generation growing up in the South, there were no NFL teams in Southern cities. We had to just pick a team, and because of the players you mentioned, and many others, I picked the Baltimore Colts. One of my favorites was John Mackey, who along with players like Mike Ditka, put tight ends "on the map". I played tight end on my high school football team, and Mackey was one of those that I tried to emulate.

Thanks for reminding us TSgt Joe C. that on March 28, 1984 the Baltimore Colts moved to Indianapolis without any sort of public announcement as they moved in the night time.
