This battle in Africa between the Natives and a Modern European Army made our Battle of Little Big Horn look like a small Skirmish. Zulu Warriors under Ntshingwayo Khoza aggressively sought out, attacked and wiped out 1300 well trained and equipped British Regulars with state of the art Rifles, Artillery and Rockets.
While Little Big Horn was an instance of Natives Being initially surprised and then overwhelming an overconfident enemy with numbers, aggressiveness and no set plan of action, Isandlwana was a set piece battle where the Zulu general planned out a campaign and his warriors worked in cohesive units to soundly defeat their better armed opponents
