I'm not into war games, but my brother is, 24-7, since he retired. I've seen realistic war scenes in real life and don't need these games to help remind me of that.
The new World War 1 first-person shooter, Battlefield 1, has gone to extreme lengths in the name of realism.
It’s 1918, and a young British soldier named Arthur Morehouse is sprinting through the bombed-out remnants of a building in France. German rifle fire kicks up around him, and as he turns a corner, a gout of fire from a flamethrower consumes him. He’s 19. Cut to Hugh Steele who is manning a side gun in a British tank. When an artillery round lands a direct hit, he dies. He is 23.

i fear them because they have a way to are making light of the loss of life and in real life there is no Reset when you screw up... t

They need to stop this, when I was growing up the worst we had was fantasy fights that didn't show as much details. You knew they were fantasy because no human being could do those things, now a days you have too many realistic things being put in the games! Some children cant even tell fantasy from reality anymore.....

Hey do not advertise this came during kids programing. This is freedom of expression whether you admit it oe not, let see what I can get way away with is a long standing way of expressing yourself. You are the one truing to regulate people, the game makers are not, they have far too much money on the line to play "that' silly game.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - I said games like this, and yes they are advertised during children's shows, this is why we don't watch network television anymore BECAUSE the lovely game companies PAY them to advertise games like this on their network during children's shows. They even sneak the names of games into cartoons and other shows meant for children. They would be better off doing it during the evening when the adult shows are on. Oh and it is MY freedom of speech to say that these games are loaded with crap that does not need to be there.

Candy Alkaabi - I will have to disagree with you. Because its so "realistic" I think kids should be aware of it. Keeping a kid away from all this is just hiding them from the real world. Things like this are going on everyday. We have taken rifles out of most schools. We are hiding whats going on in the world in media. Someone is showing reality of war. Kudos to the developers.

Candy Alkaabi - The Do not advertise games like this because to kids because they are barred from selling it to kids, I do not think you realy have much grasp on what exactly the game we are talking about is, there are very very few games like this on the market and they are ALL marketed and sales restricted to teens and adults.
