They are shutting the old Coal plants, the new ones in the same towns are opening to replace the old ones. Much of CH pollution goes to Korea. It makes breathing tough for some people.

Not only coal, they are one of the major importers of petroleum coke. Research it, identify its uses, the plan becomes obvious.

The pet coke that they are receiving is from a fluid cling process and a delayed coking process, if that helps.

If you recall the Olympics in China, and their history in general, the environment isn't high on their priority list. However developing emerging countries dependence on China is, so from their perspective this makes sense. What the rest of the world thinks about energy models means nothing to China.

Speaking of Olympics do you think they'll cancel China's 2022 winter games since its looking like japan may have to cancel the 2021 games all together?

PFC (Join to see) Olympics in 2021 really not that far off but winter of 2022 is so hard to say.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen I've seen people including the secretary of state calling for another city to be named due to raising tensions. But I wasn't asking in regards to a geo political stand point but that of a medical educated hypothesis. Thank you for the response.
