"Twenty-five out of every 100 children in grades kindergarten through senior in high school speak Spanish," Biden stated. "Twenty-five out of every 100. It's overwhelming the interest of not only those kids but of all Americans that we invest – we invest in the community. And we'll conquer and honor and lift up all those folks who in fact, are, have gotten in the way."
Wait, what? First, I would have gone with 1 in 4 or 25%, but that's me... But I'd like to know what the hell speaking Spanish has to do with has to do with this:
"We are an immigrant nation. We say that, but people act like they don't believe it," Biden said during his remarks. "That is our strength."
I speak Spanish, my kids speak Spanish, my sister, my parents... all speak Spanish. We are not of Hispanic origin, nor are we specifically immigrants. But we recognize the heritage of this nation and honor it. So to suggest this country does not believe we are a nation of immigrants is complete BS. Where the hell does he or his handlers come up with this crap? Who does he think he's talking about?
Diversity is not a strength. (Genesis 11:7) To the contrary, assimilation of the best cultural traits has made us American. His display of stupid pandering spotlights yet another divisive tactic to cement us in 3rd world status.
