Americans are putting more spending on credit cards as they struggle with inflation. This is forcing people to pay bills and cost of living items like food by increasing debt. I was talking to my bicycle shop owner and they are bracing for slow sales. People are simply stretched, something needs to give. https://www.npr.org/2023/01/11/ [login to see] /credit-card-debt-inflation-interest-rate-payments-federal-reserve
Americans are piling up credit card debt — and it could prove very costly

I know what is going to happen, it isn’t hard. Consumers will max out credit and we will be in recession or worse because people simply can’t pay bills and buy food. Wages are way behind inflation.
