Bill O'Reilly: Slaves who built White House were 'well-fed'

I mean, let's say what he's saying is true. What's his point...? The First Lady's speech was meant to point to this as a sign of American progress in race relations. I doubt he was trying to say slavery was a good thing, so is Mr. O'Reilly simply saying this because as a prominent conservative he feels he HAS to disagree with anything the presidential family says?

That makes slavery so much better when they are well fed!!!

A well fed slave is still a slave. It is someone without freedom who was forced to do another man's work.
