Is the selection pool of potential candidates so small that hiring individuals with questionable records is all that’s left?

My guess top guesses
_Stuck in your craw.
_I'd feel some outrage, but you are using it all.
I know, I know... we're all evil hypocrites and you SSgt Stone are our moral superior. Once the altar is built for you; do you want the goat we offer as a burnt offering or as a blood sacrifice?
Come on.... Really, now the guy is supposed to be unemployed for the rest of his life...? He screwed up. He paid a price. How much is enough to satisfy you? When can he and his skill set be put back to use without you getting your knickers in a twist?

Maj John Bell
SSgt Ray Stone - 1) I didn't accuse you of hypocrisy... I used "we" as in the not a "Never Trumper." I just find the level of emotion and energy you put into your continual outrage fascinating.
2) I didn't show sympathy. Mr. Shine to the best of my knowledge is not criminally or civilly liable for what he did at Fox. If he is criminally or civilly liable, I think he should face the full measure of the criminal and civil penalties the justice system metes out. If he isn't he lost his job and its time to let him back up.
But you haven't answered my question, how long should we keep our foot on Mr. Shine's neck. If he was hired as a dishwasher or busboy, would you ask us where is the outrage? Letting a man back up is not approval of his past indiscretions and misdeeds; it just not not wasting time and energy in fruitless soul-sucking vindictive emotion.
